MEET OMAR

Omar Flores was born and raised in Hood River. His building experience started in heavy industrial work setting foundations as an iron worker in Portland and Southwest Washington, but an interest in carpentry and a desire to be closer to family has landed him back in the Hood River Valley working as a carpenter’s assistant for Saga Design Build.

Early experience working for the U.S. Forest Service building and maintaining trails taught him a deep love for outdoor pursuits of all kinds, as well as the secret streams and paths of our area. He enjoys fishing, hiking, and four-wheeling while teaching his two children his love for the outdoors in our Gorge back yard.
